About the musicians
Robin DeVour, piano; with a degree in composition, Robin has written and arranged both jazz and classical music.  He is a seasoned keyboard performer with over fifty years experience.  He is responsible for most of the arrangements in Coastal Steamer's book, including several of his own compositions.

Josh Britton is a talented young bassist.  He is a jazz major at the University of Oregon School of Music, and will receive his degree in September of 2004.   

David Burrow, drums, received his masters in music theory and percussion performance three years ago. Currently he lives in Portland, where, in addition to playing, he teaches music theory at Portland Community College.

John Polese, trumpet & flugelhorn, is a fine keyboardist on both piano and accordion.  Recently, he has become interested in flugelhorn, for which he has a natural jazz feeling.

Bryce Peltier, trombone, received his masters in Jazz Studies from the University of Oregon School of Music in 2003.  Currently living in Salem, he teaches privately and performs with the Eugene Symphony, among other groups.

Tom Bergeron has played in just about every situation one might reasonably expect of a saxophonist.  He is currently chair of the Division of Creative Arts at Western Oregon University.
